Pulau Mamutik is the next island we went during the island hopping. After the visit to Pulau Manukan, Pulau Mamutik is nothing special as the island is not really clean. The island is one the smallest island at the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park
Pulau Mamutik is located off the coast of downtown Kota Kinabalu. From Hyatt Regency Kinabalu, a mere 2-minute drive or 10-minute walk will bring you to the jetty at Jesselton Point (formerly Sabah Port Authority ferry terminal) from which tour boats are available for hire to get to the island. The beach is rocky and swimmers must be careful of sea urchins that exist in large numbers beside the corals and rocks. Facing Tanjung Aru Beach Hotel, the beach to the right of the jetty would be a good place for those who are not every good swimmers.
The island to me does not give me much good impression and perhaps there is nothing to explore at the island itself and I can say I still fall in love with Pulau Manukan.
