 Experience the vibrant and diverse flavors of Thailand at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara’s exclusive “The Flavours of Thailand” buffet dinner, taking place from May 10th to 19th, 2024, at the renowned Kwee Zeen restaurant. This eagerly awaited culinary event promises to tantalize your taste buds and transport you on a gastronomic journey through the heart of Thailand.

In a captivating collaboration, Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara welcomes guest chefs Chef Joy (Sunisa Patsiri) and Chef Cream (Chinda Yarak) from the prestigious Pullman Phuket Karon Beach Resorts. Drawing upon their extensive culinary expertise and deep-rooted passion for Thai cuisine, these esteemed chefs are set to curate an unforgettable dining experience that celebrates the essence of Thailand’s culinary heritage.

Chef Joy, currently serving as the Chef De Partie at Pullman Phuket Karon Beach Resorts’ renowned specialty restaurant “Thai Thai,” is on a mission to share the rich and vibrant flavors of Thai cuisine with palates around the world. Meanwhile, Chef Cream brings over 15 years of culinary experience and a mastery of contemporary techniques to the table, earning accolades from food enthusiasts worldwide.

Throughout the promotion, guests will have the opportunity to savor a delectable array of Thailand’s most beloved dishes meticulously crafted by Chef Joy and Chef Cream. From the refreshing zest of Som-Tum (green papaya salad) to the tantalizing flavors of Gai Throd Ta-khai (lemongrass-marinated deep-fried chicken) and the iconic Tom-Yum Goong (spicy and sour prawn soup), each dish is a testament to Thailand’s rich culinary tapestry.

Expressing his inspiration behind the promotion, Director of Culinary, Chef Roland Hamidouche, shares his passion for providing Sofitel’s discerning guests with an extraordinary dining experience. Focused on authenticity and quality, Chef Roland and his team aim to create an immersive culinary journey that showcases the best of Thailand’s culinary traditions, highlighting the diverse flavors and premium ingredients that define Thai cuisine.

The “Flavours of Thailand” buffet dinner is available from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., priced at RM168+ per person from Sunday to Thursday and RM188+ per person on Fridays and Saturdays. Children aged 6 to 12 can enjoy a 50% discount, making it an ideal dining experience for families. Additionally, celebrate Mother’s Day with a special Thai-inspired lunch priced at RM128+ per person, available from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
