12 years have passed, and it’s high time we celebrate the arrival of the most majestic and fiercest zodiac again this Chinese New Year. Paying tribute to the Year of The Dragon, a legendary creature that flies among the clouds in Chinese myths, Element Kuala Lumpur is thrilled to present culinary specialties carrying auspicious meanings in its skyscraping venues, from Yee Sang, buffet, high tea set to 2 private reunion set menus.
Wholesome & Colorful: Prosperous Yee Sang
A feast to both the eyes and taste buds, the Hotel’s Executive Chinese Chef, Linus Mak’s very own take on this customary festive entrée is not to be missed. Instead of using the conventional plum sauce as the condiment, Chef Mak has handpicked a special blend of pineapple dressing to bring together a perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. Top off this kaleidoscopic platter made of refreshing medley of shredded fresh fruits and vegetables with a topping of your choice, such as Raw Salmon Slices, Crispy Fish Skins or Whole Abalones.
Choice of topping | Full portion | Half portion |
Raw salmon slices | RM158 nett | RM108 nett |
Crispy fish skins | RM158 nett | RM108 nett |
Whole abalones | RM 218 nett | RM148 nett |
Aside from being sold TRACE Restaurant & Bar for dine-in and takeaway, the Yee Sang will also be served as an auspicious starter in either one of our private reunion set menus.
Reunite at Soaring Heights: Private Reunion Set Menus
Be it intimate family reunions, corporate get-togethers or much looked-forward-to gatherings, nothing spells Chinese New Year quite like enjoying a table full of delicacies with people you value and cherish. In celebration of the Year of The Dragon, Element Hotel Kuala Lumpur will introduce 2 thoughtfully crafted set menus for you to host a private reunion at one of the city’s most sought-after high-floor venues.
Featuring course after course of Chinese dishes curated by Chef Mak, with over 20 years of experience under his belt, both set menus will be started on a festive note with the ritualistic Yee Sang presentation. What follows is a Double-Boiled Chicken Soup that retains the true essence of the nourishing ingredients and herbs used. Diners can expect to continue whetting their appetite with chicken, fish and sea prawn dishes prepared in a variety of mouth-watering styles, before sampling the specially braised “Money Bags” that carry prosperity symbolism and boast fresh flavors.
