Recently, we visited the homey restaurant by the name of Vintage Thai Cuisine. Located just next to Fei Fei Crab at Damansara Utama, the restaurant brings you with a cosy family dining with simple furnishing. Their menu is simple and nothing fancy and the shop is operated by the chef himself together with his family.
Some of the must have when you are enjoying thai food is of course their delicious plate of Homemade Thai Fish Cake. Their homemade Thai Fish Cake is made from 100% tenggiri fish paste and then infused with their homemade chily paste, long beans and chili. Each mouthful comes amazingly crunch where the meat is simply juicy and moist.
One of my favorites! Using the petai papan, the sambal petai is perfectly stir-fried with the sambal sauce and the tiger prawn. Nice and delicious and I love the crisp of the petai !
One can enjoy these fried hard boiled egg with the Thai Tamarind Sauce and sides with the fried onions with it. Yummz
One can try their Signature Thai 3 Taste. The chicken is perfectly stir fried with their signature 3 Taste Sauce which (sour, spicy and sweet sauce). It is stir fried together with the onions and capsicums that is just perfect to our tastebuds.
A must to have is their red tomyam. The tomyam completed with the bursting spiciness with the hint aromatic taste of the herbs and tomyam. It is served together with the generous seafood with it. Love with the robust flavours with the kick of spiciness in it!
Enjoy the crispy deep fried seabass which comes perfectly good! The seabass meat comes simply fresh and complete with chef’s signature miang kham ingridients and mixed with sour spicy sauce. Each bites give you with the crispy bites of the skin and the meat is flaky.
One of my favourites as well is the Thai Stye Coconut Seafood Otak Otak. Deliciously prepared and stuffed in the coconut with the fresh seafood. I am in love with the the creamy taste and fragrantly good. The ingredients are fresh and just perfect to our tastebuds.
If you prefer some sourish and yet spicy delights, go for their garlic, lime, chilly squid. You can choose to have them with either fish or squid where they are beautifully steamed till perfection in a clear tangy chili, garlic and lime sauce. Heavenly good!
Ends your meal with some of their Thai drinks of course where you can try their Thai Green Tea Latte, Thai Milk Tea or even their Coconut Shake. Choose your favourite drink here too.
Overall, I am in love with their food here especially their Tomyam, Steamed Squid, and Thai Style Coconut Seafood Otak Otak.
